We are looking for a self motivated, organised individual to run our Scaffold Yard in the Winchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and preparing the yard for the days requirements.
• Servicing and maintenance of stock
• Loading and unloading of materials both manually and by forklift
• Stock Control
• Vehicle checks/defect reports.
• Managing, motivating and mentoring a small team

Qualifications and Skills

• Good knowledge of Scaffolding components
• Excellent understanding and compliance of Health and Safety and able to organise a tidy, safe, working area.
• Self Motivated with the ability to work under pressure
• Manual handling training
• Forklift License
• Full UK Driving Licence (Class 2 and CPC advantageous)

Physical requirements

The job involves a good deal of manually handling heavy materials and working both in and outdoors in all weather.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience
